Non-toxic is a podcast devoted to understanding the ways climate change, nature, and masculinity intersect through culture, politics, media, and everyday life.

As many researchers have argued, climate change is not only a technological problem, and we can’t just invent our way out of it.

The problem is a lack of political will to change the way our societies are organized. To make an effective political intervention, we need to change climate discourse. And this starts with culture.

Weekly episodes feature conversations with experts, journalists, and everyday people are available whereever you get your podcasts.

I co-host with the show’s creator, the critic and journalist Daniel Waite Penny.
